The Tandy Pocket ComputerPC-6 is one of a line of 1980s small pocket computers calculator-sized programmable computing devices.
Pocket computers were an advancement over early programmable calculator designs. In addition to providing users with scientific math functions in a small portable package the device also understands a form of the Basic Programming Language. It includes a Qwerty Keyboard.
This 1986 Tandy PC-6 Pocket Scientific Calculator has eight kilobytes (8k) of memory.
This is USED and has been tested to work using a set of new batteries (NOT included). It uses THREE batteries....2 of CR 2032 3 Volt and 1 of DL 1216 or 1220 3 Volt. (See picture of the 3 batteries needed to operate this unit) It has typical dents/dings and scratches to the case due to use and age. It contains an ID number and some other markings on the back case (see all pictures).
PLEASE NOTE that the BATTERIES are NOT included. You will need to purchase them on your own to operate this item when you receive it. It is recommended that you purchase them prior to delivery of this auction so you have them ready and available when you receive it. They can be purchased at any hardware store or at the Battery Plus Store.
This Tandy PC-6 will deliver via USPS Priority mail and appropriately encased in a bubble envelope encased inside a larger box full of packing paper for safe delivery to you.
